The challenge

Comunidad de Madrid, Madrid’s regional government, manages over 2,700 public infrastructure projects, each generating huge amounts of complex data: budgets, timelines, contractors, project status and a large etcetera.

The database is a goldmine for decision-makers but is mostrly buried under dashboards and tools that very few know how to use.

Tailor’s goal was to make that data useful for everyone, and AI helped us to do exactly that.

It’s not about whether you need a design system—it’s about how much you’re losing without one. The moment you’re scaling, the savings become crystal clear.

The tech

So, the goal was to reach transform SQL queries to plain spanish. And that exactly what we did, using LangGraph to develop the platform, connecting their database with GPT 4.1 and back.

We did that in a secure environment, preventing sensible data leaks.

Impact

The platform keeps evolving and is now able to create data-vizualzation graphics, tables alongside plain text.
