Tailor Hub designed and implemented dormakaba AI, a multi-role AI assistant built on GPT-4, fully integrated into dormakaba's Azure cloud infrastructure. The tool provides:
Installer Role: Step-by-step installation guides extracted directly from product manuals.
Architect Role: Compatibility insights, including technical and safety restrictions for buildings.
Contractor Role: Cost estimation and building-specific recommendations.
Data Analyst Role: Automatic generation of reports and visualizations based on dormakaba's internal data.
Marketer Role: Content creation capabilities, such as articles or social media posts, crafted from product specifications.
Additionally, the tool supports multi-language functionality, fluently handling queries in German, English, and Spanish, aligning with Dormakaba’s global footprint.
Results & Business Impact
The debut at the BAU fair was a great success. Over 1,000 users from different parts of Europe tested the AI tool, with overwhelmingly positive feedback. This milestone has sparked a deeper analysis into how AI can impact the organization at all levels.
The solution has been awarded with the Global Tech Innovation award by dormakaba in 2025. More importantly, it has solved a very human problem: the time dormakaba technicians spend searching for the right info instead of doing their main job.

All data is managed and stored in Microsoft Azure, ensuring performance, reliability and compliance at every level. On the front end, the user interface is crafted with Vue.js, a progressive framework that allows for smooth interactions and an intuitive experience across devices.
